Welcome parents and students! My name is Lee Mannino.

After 10 years of experience teaching History and working as an College Advisor in private schools across Texas, I have officially founded Scholars Success to focus on creating individualized academic plans and research-based College Application programs full-time.

During my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of California, San Diego, I dove into Psychology, Education, and History courses that would help me understand students and improve education; while learning from incredible Professors, I worked as an Assistant Teacher in the Preuss School UCSD. I held several roles there, both helping remedial students build study skills and knowledge foundations while navigating college counseling with high-rising students. Not only did we achieve an 100% graduation rate, I am even more proud that 99% of our students finished college degrees: many devoted themselves to Nursing, Engineering, or Business degrees while the others completed crucial trade programs in Plumbing, Electrical Work, HVAC, and Welding.

Moving to Houston in 2014, I continued collaborating closely with families to ensure students have the academic strength & the scores to achieve acceptance to elite private high schools & universities.

I have achieved consistent success with admissions to competitive universities because I make sure each student gets specialized guidance and attention. In tandem, I have intentionally diversified my skills and maintained multiple roles, including years of experience in planning academic schedules for younger students and conducting parent conferences.

During the summer of 2024, I continued advancing my Academic Advising and Career Counseling skills through a National Career Development Association professional program and became a Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) and a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) to further guide my College Application students.  

With Scholars Success, parents are reassured and supported as the family navigates the path to college. Moreover, students join a learning community where curiosity is encouraged and dedication leads to academic excellence.

Having worked with youth ranging from private school students and Medical Residency Applicants to Special Education classes and homeless teens, I remain driven to make an impact in the lives of the new generation of adults.
